CO 56 (64,72) with CC, Place BOR marker and join in the round
Cuff:

Repeat for rounds 1 & 2 a total of 14,(16,18) times or 28 (32,36) rows
Heel Turn
Set up Rounds
Round 1 Slp 1 purlwise with yarn in back, K 14 (16,18) SSK, K1, turn your work
Round 2 Slp 1 purlwise with yarn in front P 3, P2tog, P1, turn your work
Heel Turn After Set up
Round 1 Slp 1 purlwise with yarn in back, K to 1 st before gap, ssk, K1, turn your work
Round 2 Slp 1 purlwise with yarn in front, P to 1 st before gap, P2tog, P1, turn your work
Repeat rounds 1 & 2 until all sts have been worked, Cut CC as rest of sock until the toe is K in MC
- With MC pick up the left leg of the st below the last stitch on your right needle (BOR), & the right leg of the 1st 1 row below the heel flap, pick up 1 st through these two (like 1 K2tog).
- Pick up 1 stitch in each row along the selvedge edge of the heel flap, 14 (15,16).
- K across the heel sts
- Pick up 1 st in each row down the selvedge edge of the heel flap 14 (15,16).
- Pick up the left leg of the 1st st 1 row below the heel flap & the right leg of the st 1 row below the last st on your left needle, pick up 1 st (like a k2tog). This gives you a total of 15 (16,17) sts picked up along each selvedge edge of the heel flap.
- k across all sts on top of foot
Gusset
You should now be back at the BOR
Round 1 K1, SSK, K until last 3 sts before marker (on bottom of foot), K2tog, K1, Knit across top of foot ( 2 sts decreased)
Round 2 K all sts
Rep Round 1 & 2 until you are back to your original st count of 56 (64,72)
Foot
K all sts until desired length is reached before the toe. Usually this is until your sock lands mid-pinky toe
TOE
Switch to magic loop or DPNS to knit the toe decrease section if you are using 9" circulars.
Round 1 K1, SSK, K until last 3 sts of row (1/2 total), K2tog, K1, Repeat with remaining 1/2 of sts (top of foot). (4 sts decreased)
Round 2 K all sts
Round 3 Repeat rounds 1 & 2 until you have 16 (20,24) sts remaining in total
Round 4 Kitchener stitch toe closed, weave in ends & wet block.
